Konsthantverkarnas Jubillee Exhibition, "Signerad" celebrating the cooperatives 60th birthday opens at the Museum of Architecture in Stockholm. Showing work from all the current 85 members, the exhibition is open throughout the summer from 22nd June until 14th August.

In "A Long And A Short" Konsthantverkarnas members have taken to serial production, either a long series of 60 pieces or a short of 6. With 60 members taking part means there is a lot to see and amongst all this work can be found candlesticks from David and bonbon dishes from Åsa.

"Under That Cloud" is the title of gallery Spektum in Munichs latest exhibition. The work on show is from a group of artist who became stranded together in Mexico as a result of the great Icelandic volcano eruption last year. Open from 17th-26th March.

Agnieszka will be guest teacher at Gothenbergs University of Design and Craft this week, grappling with students from the jewellery department combining the difficult art of enamelling with the use of colour in poetic reflection.

Lecture At The Museum Of Architecture
Åsa will be conducting an open lecturer at the Museum of Architecture in Stockholm on Tuesday 12th October . Together with colleague Hedvig Westermark, Åsa will be presenting an introduction to modern Swedish art jewelry and it's increasingly international status. The lecture begins at 18:00.

Community Bowl #2 to National Museum
Our Community Bowl #2 project officially came to a close this week as CB#2 was placed on display at the National Museum in Stockholm. CB#2 was acquired by the National Museum in the form of a donation from MADE BY: closing the circle between the makers and the owners and from now on can be viewed on the first floor in the first room to the right.

Röhsska Museum aquires Davids Container

Davids Lingam On Show In Holland
Ruudt Peters enormous LINGAM project is now on show at the Catharijne Convent in Utrecht until 28th February. 122 invited artists from around the world have given their interpretation of the south Asian fertility symbol and Davids kaleidoscope "Phallic Mandala" is among them. Ruudt can be seen here talking about his ambitions with "LINGAM" and the philosophy behind the exhibition.
